Mama June In Jeopardy Of Losing Children Amid Scandal

After TLC officially announced that it was cutting it’s show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo after reports that Mama June was dating a registered sex offender, things could still get worse.

On Friday, after the show’s cancellation, June Shannon was insistent that she did not have a relationship with sex offender, Mark McDaniel and had not seen him since he first went to prison and has since been released, a period of ten years.

However, photo evidence suggests she is lying about her contact with McDaniel and one particular photo even shows McDaniel in close contact with June’s youngest daughter, 9-year old Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson.

Having Alana close to McDaniel is scary enough but there is also the fact that the child McDaniel molested was June’s daughter, Anna, who was 8 years old at the time.

Although there have been no official reports that Family and Child services is investigating the allegations a spokesperson for the Georgia Division did say, “Generally speaking, when we receive a report that children are living around a sex offender…it would certainly rise to the level of concern of us looking into it.”

Anna has also spoken out about the allegations that her mother is once again dating the man who molested her, “Mama said the story isn’t true and she said she hasn’t seen Mark since he’s been out of jail. My whole body believes that she is telling the truth, but my mind is going back and forth.” she told People magazine.

Anna, who is now a mother to her own daughte, two year old Kaitlyn, also said that there is no way her mother would see Kaitlyn if Mark is around, “I would not let her see Kaitlym unless Mark is out of the picture or away because I don’t want him nowhere near my child. Nowhere close to her,” the 20-year old stated.

Along with the recent photo showing June, Mark and Alana together, there have also been other pictures that clearly show Mark and June together, holding hands and even house hunting.
