Bold And The Beautiful News Round-Up For The Week (August 8, 2022)

Vinny’s hit-and-run case will come to a head when Thomas is rescued from the cage Justin locked him in, coming up this month on The Bold And The Beautiful (B&B). Plus, Eric will dump Quinn and fire Carter from Forrester Creations when he finds out they slept together. (On the plus side, he may also have two women waiting in the wings to comfort him.) 12. Brooke’s Payback

Speculation teases that Paris will spill the tea to Brooke, right before Quinn and Eric’s vow renewal ceremony. Armed with her newfound knowledge, Brooke will march into the Forrester living room, point the finger at Quinn and accuse her of sleeping with Carter. Everyone in attendance will be stunned, but none more so than Eric.

11. Quinn Gets Dumped

At first, Quinn will try to deny that anything untoward happened between her and Carter. She’ll remind Eric that Brooke has always been out to get her. But not only will Paris confirm it’s true, so will Carter. He wanted to come clean days ago and now that their secret is out, he’ll see no use in denying it. Then Eric will utter the words Quinn has been dreading since Paris found out she slept with Carter. He’ll tell her they’re through and she needs to get out of his house.

10. Shauna Comforts Eric

Eric will be devastated by Quinn’s betrayal but there’ll be no shortage of women to comfort him. He’s gotten close with Shauna recently and won’t blame her for keeping Quinn’s secret. Then again, he never blames her for anything! At first, she’ll try to defend Quinn but will quickly realize she’s fighting a losing battle. Eric will tell her he’s done with his wife for good. But will he start falling for Shauna? And if so, would she be willing to lose her friendship with Quinn to take up with Eric?

9. Donna Sees Her Chance

Another highly possible new love interest for Eric is his ex-wife Donna. In the coming month, Donna will confess to Katie that she’s still in love with Eric. She’ll tell her sister the best years of her life were the ones she spent with her Honey Bear. And once she hears that Eric and Quinn’s marriage is over, there’ll be nothing stopping her from pursuing her true love.

8. Carter Loses His Job And His Fiancé

When you’ve done something as scandalous as sleeping with your boss’ wife, you can’t expect to hold onto your job for long. And rumor has it, Carter will not only lose his fiancé, Zoe, but his prestigious COO position at Forrester Creations as well. Eric and Ridge will not only be disappointed in their formerly loyal employee, but they’ll also lose all the trust they ever had in him.

7. New Power Couple?

Now that they’re both free, will Quinn and Carter become a power couple? There’ll be nothing stopping them from seeing each other. In fact, it seems obvious that Carter has developed feelings for Quinn and only proposed to Zoe again to cover up the fact that they had a fling. But once they find themselves single, will Carter and Quinn decide to give their relationship a real shot?

6. Finn’s Parents Have A Problem

There’s been much speculation about whether Finn’s parents, who will arrive on the scene in late July, are going to like Steffy. It’s rumored they will be a traditional couple with conservative standards and might have a problem with the ultra-modern woman Finn has chosen to marry. It’s also not yet known if they are Finn’s adoptive or biological parents. But either way, they may provide some ill-timed angst for the couple as they bond with their new baby boy.

5. Missing Person Report

Ridge, Steffy and Hope will get together and discuss their worry about Thomas. None of them will have heard from him for days and they’ll decide to go to Deputy Chief Baker with their concerns. But will Baker connect Thomas’ sudden disappearance with the hit-and-run case that took Vinny’s life?

4. Wyatt Finally Gets A Clue

B&B speculation indicates that Wyatt may finally get a clue when it comes to Justin. He’ll find out from both Bill and Liam that Justin has made no inroads in their case. And it’ll occur to Wyatt that Justin volunteered to deal with all of Spencer Publications’ business issues that come up. So, will Wyatt begin to wonder if Justin is really on their side?

3. Who Will Save Thomas?

Will Thomas be able to free himself from Justin’s makeshift prison or will someone burst in and save him? It’s possible Charlie caught footage of Justin dragging something out of Forrester Creations on a security cam and may sound the alarm when he hears Thomas is missing. Or, if Wyatt really does figure out Justin is only out for himself, he may follow him down to the Spencer Publications basement. In which case, he’ll find Thomas being held hostage there.

2. Bill And Liam Released

By whatever means, Thomas will eventually be freed from his cage, and he’ll immediately go to the police with what he knows. Justin may have erased the video footage of Vinny’s suicide from Thomas’ phone, but once the cops know it’s out there, they’ll be able to easily track it down. Once they view it, they’ll realize that no crime was committed. Bill and Liam will be thrilled to learn they’re being released. They will also both be stunned when they find out Thomas is the one responsible for their freedom.

1. Justin Gets His Comeuppance

Not only will Bill and Liam be freed from jail, but Justin may end up taking their place there. Thomas will show up at Spencer Publications with Bill, Liam and Deputy Chief Baker in tow. The chief will slap handcuffs on Justin and charge him with kidnapping and obstruction of justice. But will Bill have some harsh words for his former right hand man before he’s taken away?
