Bold And The Beautiful News Round-Up For The Week (August 8, 2022)

Sheila will have a second opportunity to finish off Steffy, coming up on The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). Meanwhile, Hope will grow concerned about Liam’s emotional connection to his ex-wife. Also, Quinn and Carter will lean on each other as their romantic lives reach a crossroads. Looking beyond the spoilers, below are B&B plotline predictions for April 25th to May 6th, 2022.

12. Liam Feels The Pressure

Everyone wants Steffy to regain her memories, but that doesn’t mean everyone agrees on the same approach. While Liam is mostly concerned about his ex-wife remembering who pulled the trigger, Brooke and Taylor will continue to argue about whether it’s right to let Steffy believe that Liam is her husband. Brooke will undermine Taylor’s plea for patience and strong-arm her son-in-law to tell Steffy the truth – that he hasn’t been her husband for a few years now!

11. Ridge Isn’t Impressed

Needless to say, Brooke and Ridge’s marital status is on the back-burner as Steffy lies in a hospital bed, but it’s clear that he and Taylor are bonding over this family tragedy. Brooke will try to push her agenda during the week of May 2nd, and when Ridge finds out, he’ll be all the less enchanted by his destiny’s behavior. There won’t be any hint of Ridge and Brooke reuniting until Steffy regains her memories.

10. Hope Frets

Meanwhile, Hope is treading carefully here. She wants the best for Steffy, but she can’t deny that watching Liam pretend to be Steffy’s husband is bothering her. Worse yet, Hope will notice Liam’s shift in mood as he becomes more impatient over delays in the investigation. But it looks like Liam’s hot-headedness will only intensify over the next two weeks, as he and Bill make a vow to catch the assailant.

9. Fool Me Once…

Early during the week of April 25th, Sheila will be interrupted by Taylor just as she was eyeing the medical equipment that’s keeping Steffy alive. After her powerful rooftop moment with the criminal, Taylor won’t find it overly suspicious that Sheila was alone with her unconscious daughter. However, eyebrows will raise when Sheila takes a second “stab” at ending Steffy’s life later in the week.

8. Fool Me Twice…

Sheila will earn herself another tantalizing opportunity to finish Steffy during the week of April 25th, when she finds herself alone with her incapacitated daughter-in-law. Only this time, when the former nurse inches forward to sabotage Steffy’s recovery, Liam will enter the room. Spencer’s blood pressure is already elevated, so seeing Sheila hovering over his ex-wife will have him highly suspicious. How will Sheila explain her presence?

7. Baker And Sheila Will Meet Again

Speaking of Ms. Carter, Deputy Chief Baker recently asked her if she could think of anyone who would’ve had a reason to shoot her son and Steffy. Baker gave the grieving (and internally panicking) mother some space, but informed her that they would speak soon. When the two meet up again over the next two weeks, will Sheila have a suspect in mind to throw the cop off her trail?

6. What About Jack?

Many B&B viewers assume that Sheila will point the finger at Deacon over the shootings behind his place of employment. Others are suggesting the hotel manager, Keith. However, given her tense standoff with Li, Sheila may choose to incriminate her erstwhile conspirator Jack. Sheila’s intimate knowledge of Finn’s biological father could be used to gain leverage over Li – that is, if the surgeon still has any feelings for her deceptive husband.

5. Is Finn Still Alive?

Speaking of Jack, the mystery around his character – his whereabouts, occupation and really, everything about the guy – have become the catalysts for new B&B theories asserting that Finn is still alive. Despite Tanner Novlan insisting that his character was axed and Steffy portrayer Jacqueline MacInnes Wood echoing that Finn is no more, some fans believe that Li is protecting Finn from Jack’s contacts. Could Finn’s father be in the CIA, or the mob? And is Li assuming that’s why her son was shot?

4. Homecoming For Steffy

Thankfully, it looks as though Sheila’s attempts to finish Steffy will fail, as the Forrester Creations CEO will make huge strides in her physical recovery over the next two weeks. Unfortunately, she’ll continue seeing mostly shadows of that traumatic night in the alleyway. Once Steffy gets released from the hospital, will anything in the cliff house help fill in the blanks of her memory?

3. Could Steffy Remember More Than She Lets On?

B&B fans are speculating about Steffy as well, predicting that she remembers more about the shooting than she’s letting on. Much of this speculation boils down to the long stares Steffy was giving Sheila while the latter was standing in her hospital room. If Steffy can’t remember her time with Finn, seeing Sheila of all people in her hospital room would be pretty baffling. However, could the widow be faking many of her memory issues as she puts together a revenge plan? Or is this just wishful thinking on behalf of “Sinn” fans?

2. The Toll On Eric

B&B viewers were relieved to finally see Eric react to his granddaughter’s shooting. He fully expects Steffy to pull through, although he admitted to Quinn that her attack has taken a toll on him. Given the performance issues that still plague this couple in the bedroom, is Eric using that tragedy as a convenient excuse to keep some distance from his wife? That’s what Quinn thinks!

1. “Quarter” 2.0?

When Eric abruptly left Quinn and Carter alone in his office, Quinn took it personally. “Maybe my marriage is never going to be the same after my affair with you,” she said to Carter. Is Eric’s mistrust still playing into their romance, or is Quinn just getting impatient? Carter and Quinn will support one another as they both stand at a romantic crossroads. But won’t that just tempt another steamy affair between these two?
