12. Chloe Lane Returns!

Actress Nadia Bjorlin will reprise her Chloe Lane role in early December! A DOOL’s preview video relays that there will be some magical moments between her and Philip; however, don’t expect a Chloe-Philip reunion to happen right away. The actress also has scenes with ex-hubby Brady Black, so should Kristen DiMera be worried?

11. Kristen’s Out For Christmas?

DOOL spoilers imply that Kristen DiMera could be spending Christmas outside of prison and in the Kiriakis mansion. Not only does the soap’s preview video show her and Brady decked out in festive clothes, kissing under the mistletoe, she’s also shown gleefully bantering back and forth with Victor (in a very comedic and non-confrontational way). What could have gotten DiMera out of jail? Does she get released or is she out on a day pass?

10. Philip and Sarah

While there will be some sparks between Philip and Chloe, the Days preview video has Philip and Sarah smooching under the mistletoe (and other places) a couple of times during the Christmas season. Sarah is set to break up with Xander very soon, so will she move on to Philip, or is this all part of their plan to nab Kiriakis at his own game?

9. Joey Is Freed!

DOOL spoilers imply that Joey Johnson will return to the land of Salem soon, as actor James Lastovic reprises the role. Seems as if Joey will be sprung from jail; however, is he given early release for good behavior, or is it because Ava is alive? Added teasers suggest that Ava will reveal herself to Tripp, Kayla, and Steve. It also seems as if she’ll be hanging out at the apartment at some point, too. What could have her staying there on any terms?

8. Valerie Grant Comes Back To Salem

Eli’s mom Valerie will return to Salem, just in time for the holidays! Actress Vanessa Williams will reprise the role, and it seems as if momma bear has returned not only for Christmas but for another major milestone in her son’s life. There’s no greater bond between a mom and her child, except for the love that a grandmother has for her grandbabies.

7. Lani Deliveries

Santa may deliver two special presents a little early this year, as DOOL spoilers hint that Lani will give birth in December. This is probably why Valerie has returned, but the even better news is that the preview video for the soap also shows that Eli will be in the delivery room with Lani! Here’s hoping their twins can bring them closer together.

6. Birthing Complications?

The DOOL preview video also suggests that there might be some issues in the delivery room. Kayla will be helping Lani with her delivery, and she offers some strong and encouraging words for the mom-to-be. Could Lani suffer from complications? Will both babies be okay in the end? You’ll have to tune in to find out!

5. Will Returns!

DOOL spoilers indicate that Will Horton is set to return to Salem, and a preview video shows Allie hugging her brother and wishing him a “Merry Christmas.” Actor Chandler Massey will reprise the role, but it does seem as if Will’s stint might be a short one, only for the holiday season. Interestingly enough, Sonny is not in the video.

4. Sami’s Back!

DOOL spoilers have also revealed that Sami Brady is headed back to Salem, and she should return by the end of the month. Will she be back to enjoy the holidays? Unlike Will, her comeback is slated as a long-term one, and her storyline is being touted as an “emotional” journey.

3. Tony and Anna News

In the long list of December returns, Tony and Anna DiMera are also set to return to Salem during the holidays. Played by Leann Hunley and Thaao Penghlis, seems as if the duo is coming back to not only partake in Christmas celebrations but also have a warning for Chabby about Gwen.

Is Gwen really about ruining Abigail, or does she simply want Chad to herself? DOOL spoilers state that Anna and Tony will warn Chabby that Gwen isn’t all that nice. Added preview video scenes show Gwen trying to go in for the kiss on Chad twice! Once under the mistletoe, and once in his bedroom.

Before DOOL viewers get overly excited, the DOOL preview video for December does show Ciara with Ben; however, it does seem as if actress Victoria Konefal will reprise this role as a ghost or image. Ben is sure to struggle this Christmas without his wife, and he may need some encouragement from her, beyond the grave
