It isn’t everyday that a production coordinator celebrates twenty years of service, so we must tip our hat to Laura Walsh for accomplishing such a career milestone with The Young And The Restless. But when cast and crew members hit the town to honor Walsh’s time with the CBS soap, they probably didn’t intend for one candid photo to create a major stir in the soaps world.
The photo in question, snapped and posted by actress Melissa Ordway on Wednesday, May 26th, had a particular shine to it — mostly in the area of co-star Sharon Case’s left hand… Right around the ring finger… There you go!

The appearance of a hard-to-miss diamond amid the casual crumbs of a pizzeria got Y&R fans raving that Ms Case (who plays Sharon Rosales) and her co-star Mark Grossman (Adam Newman) are real-life engaged!
As of press time, neither half of the off-screen (and sometimes on-screen) super-couple has offered any statement on the matter. Ordway (who plays Abby Newman) has managed to avoid responding to a slew of questions about the ring on her now-famous Instagram post.
Love struck the co-stars soon after Grossman began portraying the character of Adam Newman in 2019.
“She’s really the first one I built any rapport with,” Grossman told Soap Opera Digest. “Of course, I asked her about 7,000 questions. I had a month before I started, so I continued to pick her brain on everything Genoa City. I’m sure I annoyed the hell out of her.”
Clearly, Case didn’t mind the attention. As their relationship has progressed, the two have made frequent appearances in each other’s social media feeds.
