Blake Shelton’s up to something.

Earlier this week, E! News confirmed that Miranda Lambert closed The Pink Pistol, a clothing boutique in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Lambert opened the business 3 years ago. Now it seems the property will have a new, familiar owner.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Shelton replied to a fan’s inquiry about a report that he had purchased The Pink Pistol. Shelton replied, “No sir. PP left town. I bought the building it used to be in though!!! And yes something is brewing…” He also released a statement to E! News that confirms the purchase. “As a resident of Tishomingo, I am very sorry that the Pink Pistol has decided to move its operations out of the area,” Blake said. “We all as a community appreciate everything it has done for our town. As for the actual properties left behind…I was offered the opportunity to buy them and I have a plan brewing.”

A press release acquired from Taste of Country says Miranda made the decision to close the boutique in Tishomingo so she could focus her attention to expanding The Pink Pistol in Lindale, Texas, her hometown. “I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the employees who worked hard to help me bring the store in Tishomingo to life, as well as the patrons who came to experience the Pink Pistol and supported the store.”Optimistic about her business’ future, she added, “Sometimes you need to close a chapter to build on a new beginning or go back home.”
