On Thursday June, 25 Bristol Palin, 24, the daughter of politician Sarah Palin took to her blog to make the announcement that she was pregnant with her second child, a month after her wedding to Dakota Meyer was canceled. Palin, 24, previously made headlines back in 2008 when she revealed she was expecting a baby with her then boyfriend Levi Johnston.

The news shocked many as she was considered an abstinence spokesperson. In her second pregnancy announcement, she admitted that “this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you.”

Now, however, she is changing her tune. She wrote another blog post on Sunday June, 28 to defend herself after haters and critics slammed her for getting knocked up again.

“I made a mistake, but it’s not the mistake all these giddy a$$holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned. Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn’t go as planned but life keeps going. Life moves on,” she stated seemingly confirming Dakota Meyer is the father, although neither have confirmed that.

“I do not regret this baby. This baby is not a disappointment, and I cannot wait to be a mom times two. Tripp is going to make the best big brother!!”
