Little Archie is sending birthday wishes to his grandfather, Prince Charles!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex posted to Instagram this morning honoring Prince Charles for his 71st birthday. “Happy birthday to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales – Sir, Pa, Grandpa!” the couple wrote, adding a cake emoji.
The photo is an unreleased portrait of little Archie from his christening day back in July. It shows Prince Harry holding Archie while Prince Charles looks proudly at his grandson. The adorable moment was captured by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding photographer Chris Allerton.
Many other members of the royal family also wished Prince Charles a special day, including Kate Middleton and Prince William. “Wishing a very happy birthday to The Prince of Wales!” they captioned an adorable photo of Prince Charles playing with Prince Louis.
Charles will be spending his special birthday in India, where he is currently on a royal tour. He was honored with garland and a cake by schoolchildren in Mumbai as an act of celebration.
