Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are excited about the future!
It’s been a tumultuous few years for Meghan and Harry with their life under a microscope, so now they are ready for a new change of pace. The duo has officially settled down in Los Angeles and are “feeling good” and “positive about the future,” a royal source shared with PEOPLE. “It is exciting for them to mark the end of the transition and the official start of their new chapter.”
Meghan and Harry flew with Archie from Vancouver to L.A. in early March for the beginning of their next chapter. They are now settling into their new California lifestyle with their 11-month-old son. “Like everyone, they are adjusting to [social distancing], being cautious and safe,” the source added.
On Monday, the duo released a final statement on their Instagram account to close the chapter. “Thank you to this community — for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world. We look forward to reconnecting with you soon. You’ve been great!,” they wrote and signed the note from simply Meghan and Harry.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will spend the next few months focusing on their family and continuing to do what they can, safely and privately, to support and work with their pre-existing charitable commitments while developing their future non-profit organization,” their spokesperson said in a statement released from Buckingham Palace.
