Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have had a jam-packed schedule the past few weeks with the royal Africa tour, but it’s time for a break!
It has been announced that the royal family-of-three will be taking approximately six weeks off near the end of the year for some valuable “family time” together. The time off comes amid the intense scrutiny and pressure the royal couple has been under after filing a lawsuit against the British press. During the time off, the couple will spend time between the U.K. and the U.S. with the possibility of celebrating Thanksgiving in the U.S. as well.
“The duke and duchess have a full schedule of engagements and commitments until mid-November, after which they will be taking some much-needed family time,” a royal source confirmed to PEOPLE.
