The Duchess of Sussex has made a public appearance to celebrate the launch of her new charity workwear line!

The appearance marks the end of her maternity leave and the beginning of her full-time schedule as a working royal. The Duchess gave a short speech at the launch event before watching a panel discussion with Smart Works representatives, two of its clients and a Smart Works Patron. Meghan has reportedly purchased all five items of the collection herself and is expected to style some of them on her upcoming royal tour in Africa with Harry and baby Archie.

For the occasion, Meghan stepped out showcasing pieces from the new workwear collection she helped to design. She looks fabulous in a sophisticated button-up shirt designed by Mischa Nonoo and black trousers designed by Jigsaw. She accessorized with a skinny brown belt which perfectly coordinates with her brown pumps. She also wore a pair of special butterfly earrings which were passed down from Princess Diana’s collection.

The workwear collection is now available to shop online and in-stores. “Taking the idea further, many of the brands agreed to use the one-for-one model: for each item purchased by a customer, one is donated to the charity,” the Duchess explained. “Not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story, it reminds us we are in it together.”
