The Bachelor‘s Peter Weber had a very up and down season as The Bachelor and many questioned his decision-making and ability to really share his feelings, but despite the criticism, he wouldn’t do it over again if given the chance.
During an Instagram Q&A session on Friday, March 20, when a fan asked the 28-year-old pilot if he was given the chance to redo his season, Weber answered with a quick “no.”

“One of the biggest takeaways I took was we have 0% control of the past but 100% control of the future,” he wrote. “And that’s a beautiful thing.”
Weber received plenty of criticism when he proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss during The Bachelor finale, which aired on March 10, and then later broke off the engagement for runner-up Madison Prewett.
He broke up with Sluss, one month after he proposed, admitting he still had feelings for Prewett. Weber and Prewett rekindled their romance on the After the Final Rose live episode, but then split two days later.
“Madi, thank you for your patience and unconditional love,” Weber wrote, referring to his breakup with Prewett via Instagram. “You’re the epitome of a woman who carries herself with grace, stands by what she believes in, and loves whole heartedly. That love is something I feel so grateful to have felt and will take a piece of that with me always going forward. Madi and I have mutually decided to not pursue our relationship any further.”
Weber’s mother, Barbara Weber, was also criticized when she argued that her son and Prewett’s relationship would “not work.” Barbara said that while she and Sluss had a special connection, she didn’t see one with Prewett.
On March 13, Weber told TMZ that his mother did not influence his breakup with Prewett.
