If you can believe it, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri is already eight years old, which also happens to be the age where Christmas gets a little more complicated as Katie Holmes told Ellen in an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday November 24.
Holmes was on the show to promote her new film, Miss Meadows, in which she plays an elementary school teacher who moonlights as a crime-fighter.
So close to the holiday season however, the subject quickly turned to Christmas and of course Katie getting all the gifts ready for her daughter.
“We are getting ready for Christmas in my house. My daughter’s eight years old, and she already has her Christmas list ready. It’s written out. She’s very organized,” the 35-year old mom and actress told Ellen.
While all children can’t wait to see what Santa left them under the tree on Christmas morning, apparently Suri Cruise is a whole other force to be reckoned with when it comes to her Christmas list.
“I start to get a little bit of a panic because you cannot screw up talking to Santa. You cannot miss any item on that list, because if you screw that up, that’s years and years of hearing about it, and then probably therapy,” Holmes joked.
Of course being the daughter to two celebrities, Ellen got concerned that maybe Suri was expecting a little too much but Holmes assured her that Suri was not “abusing Santa.”
“She’s practical. She’s just very specific,” Holmes answered.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes had Suri shortly before they married in 2006, the couple were married for six years before Holmes filed for divorce in 2012.
