On the heels of an investigation into child molestation by 7th Heaven actor Stephen Collins, cops swarmed his residence when they received reports of a suicide at the house.

According to police someone reported the actor had shot himself but when they arrived he was not home and have been in contact with him since. It is not clear however if there actually was a gun shot around the residence, only that it did not involve the actor or suicide.

Since the release of Collins’ taped confession to several incidents of child molestation there have been numerous disturbing allegations made against the actor.

The actor’s wife Faye Grant, who secretly recorded the confession says he had nothing to do with its release to the media but believes he does have sociopathic tendencies.

Much of Hollywood and people who have worked with Collins are shocked by the allegations and his reps have not made any statements.

A network that had been running reruns of the 7th Heaven series has pulled the episodes while the investigation continues.
