If Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) fans were excited to see Victoria Konefal at the recent “Day Of Days” fan event, they’ll be over the moon about this! A special winter preview promo, which was aired at the event, reveals that Konefal will return to Salem in 2023!
The actress will reprise the role of Ciara Brady this winter, according to Soap Opera Network. Although the actress has not confirmed the news via her social channels, she sent out a message to all of her fans in a recent video clip.
“You guys have a chokehold on my heart,” Konefal said to the fans. “I love, love, love you guys. Your support doesn’t go unnoticed, and it doesn’t go unappreciated.”

“I act, and I’m on the show, because I love it and it is my passion,” she continued, “but you guys make my experience so much more special and so much more worth it, so thank you.”
Konefal’s return comes months after she made it abundantly clear that she wanted to break away from the Peacock soap in order to focus on new opportunities. “My artistic integrity was no longer being fulfilled,” she stated at the time.
The star departed the soap after Ciara and her husband Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) literally sailed off into the sunset. “The couple is so popular, you want them to have a happy ending,” head writer Ron Carlivati revealed in the summer. “But then that involved writing Rob off the show, who doesn’t necessarily want to leave.”
Wilson returned weeks later as bad boy Alex Kiriakis. However, it appears that Wilson will also reprise his Ben Weston character, as the winter preview promo features some steamy scenes that “Cin” fans won’t want to miss.
As previously reported, Konefal won’t be the only exiled DOOL star returning to the canvas. Kristian Alfonso and Peter Reckell will reprise their roles as her onscreen parents, Hope and Bo Brady. On top of that, Steve Burton is on contract to portray his character, Harris Michaels, who was last seen on Days Of Our Lives: Beyond Salem.
So what’s in store for Ciara? In the winter preview, which is now available to watch, the young mother is seen walking in on an embrace between her mother and Harris Michaels. How will Bo feel about that?
